Walking for a Cure with St. Jude

On a bright Tampa morning, members of the Dimmitt Automotive Group laced up their sneakers and rallied together for a cause close to our hearts — the St. Jude Walk/Run in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. With spirited teams representing our various locations, we joined hundreds of others to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research.

Thanks to the passion and generosity of our team members, families, and friends, Dimmitt raised a total of $26,683, making us the #2 corporate fundraising team in all of Tampa Bay. This contribution helps ensure that families receiving care at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Beyond the financial impact, this event brought out the best in our team. Whether walking, running, or cheering from the sidelines, the camaraderie and shared commitment to giving back was palpable. We were proud to have two individuals rank in the Top 10 of all fundraisers, further proving the heart and dedication behind the Dimmitt name.

The Dimmitt family is always looking for ways to drive positive change — on and off the road. Events like the St. Jude Walk/Run remind us how powerful we can be when we walk together.
