Dimmitt Automotive Group was thrilled to sponsor the Celebration Exotic Car Festival in Orlando. The four-day festival boasts the largest collection of exotic cars, race cars, and Hollywood movie cars all coming together to help children with life threatening medical conditions.
Attendees enjoyed a four-day, action-packed weekend of track racing, comedy performed by Steve Martin and Martin Short, a world-class concours, and even a concert by rock legend John Waite. It was a weekend of thrills, entertainment, exotic cars, and then more exotic cars.
All for a Great Cause
But all of the Hollywood glamor and the luxury was presented in the name of a great cause.
The event coordinators partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation to donate proceeds from the festival to change the lives of young children in the community.
Make-A-Wish is a charity that grants wishes for critically ill children between the ages of 2½ and 18. Upon receiving a referral by a doctor or family member, Make-A-Wish sends a volunteer representative to learn the child’s one true wish. Then, a team of wish granters craft an unforgettable experience to match the wish kid’s idea of a perfect day.
It’s Make-A-Wish’s belief that a wish come true helps children feel stronger and more willing to battle their critical illness. The process is determined to work in concert with medicine to make patients feel better emotionally and even physically.
Thank you to everyone who participated in such an amazing, successful event!
