Dimmitt Cares Joins The Ringling for a Rolls-Royce Celebration Honoring a Historic Return
Dimmitt Automotive Group was honored to participate in a truly remarkable evening at The Ringling Museum in Sarasota, celebrating the homecoming of a legendary vehicle: John Ringling’s 1922 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Paddington Limousine.
This unforgettable event brought together curators, historians, and supporters to witness the return of this iconic car to the museum — a vehicle rich with history and elegance, and now carefully preserved as a symbol of the Ringling legacy.

The celebration was made possible through the incredible generosity and collaboration of many individuals. Special thanks were extended to:
- Charlie Klippel, whose support brought the project to life
- Warren Colbert and Michael Bush, for their vision and guidance
- Martin and Blake Godbey, along with their team, for overseeing the vehicle’s relocation
- The Circus Department at The Ringling, including Nick Cota, Jennifer Lemmer Posey, and staff, for curating the exhibition and ensuring the evening was a success
Dimmitt’s Role in Celebrating Craftsmanship
Representing Rolls-Royce and Dimmitt Automotive Group, Rodney Padgett joined the festivities and generously provided exclusive gifts for guests, further highlighting Dimmitt’s commitment to luxury, legacy, and community engagement. The event was not only a celebration of a historic automobile but a reminder of how deeply interconnected artistry, engineering, and cultural heritage can be.

Guests enjoyed an elegant evening filled with storytelling, appreciation, and the timeless elegance of a Rolls-Royce that once belonged to one of the most influential entertainment figures in American history. Dimmitt is proud to have played a small part in this monumental occasion and looks forward to future collaborations with The Ringling.
