It was a beautiful day to roll out ultra luxury in support of those living with disabilities in our community. Dimmitt Automotive Group was a proud sponsor of Easterseals’ 10th annual A Pair to Remember event this past Saturday.
Guests arrived in style to the Straz Center in Tampa, where they were treated to a Ladies Luncheon followed by a shoe auction benefitting Easterseals Florida. The details were immaculate, the weather was beautiful and accommodating, and the shoes were gorgeous.

Supporting Those Living with Disabilities
Easterseals serves 1.4 million disabled children and adults and their families, offering a wide range of services. They change the way the world defines and views disability by making positive differences in people’s lives every day.
Over 50 million Americans live with disabilities. Their challenges range from mobility struggles to developmental disabilities. Easterseals wants to help members and clients to build the skills and access the resources they need to live, learn, work and play.
But their help isn’t just for the disabled. Easterseals also has programs to support caregivers, such as their Adult Day Health Care, which allows time for caregivers to work outside the home by providing a safe, familiar environment for members.
A Unique History of Giving
Easterseals began as a single campaign to raise money for disabled children. Donors placed seasonal seals on envelopes and letters to show their support. The public couldn’t get enough. With overwhelming support, the campaign expanded into a grassroots movement that led to the formal organizing of the “Easter Seals” in 1967.
Today, Easterseals categorizes their community-based programs into five categories: Live, Learn, Work, Play, and Act. To learn more about their integral community programs, or to get involved and support those in our community who live with disabilities, please visit www.Easterseals.com
