On November 25, 2019, the Dimmitt Automotive Group participated in the Salvation Army’s Turkey Giveaway. This event is just one of the many things the Salvation Army does for the community during the holidays. Their motto being, “Doing the most good,” The Salvation Army does all that they can to help the community in times of need. Dimmitt is proud to volunteer with a company that does so much good for our Tampa Bay community.
Dimmitt employees went to the Joy Center in Clearwater where they helped distribute Thanksgiving dinners. These Thanksgiving dinners feed over 40,000 people! There were 10,000 turkeys distributed along with all the classic Thanksgiving sides. All of these turkeys and sides created Thanksgiving meals for thousands of people. The Turkey Giveaway is only possible due to donations and volunteers.
