This July, Dimmitt Cares had the opportunity to partner with Duke Energy to teach Pinellas County students about the future of electric vehicles. As part of the Youth Energy Academy, students in the community visited the Duke Energy Bartow power plant to learn more about energy and the future of energy.
Duke Energy hosts the Youth Energy Academy in St. Petersburg every summer. By partnering with other organizations in the community, the Youth Energy Academy offers students interested in STEM the opportunity to learn more about the energy industry. Dimmitt was thrilled to showcase the stunning, energy efficient Cadillac LYRIQ.
The LYRIC is Cadillac’s first electric vehicle. Powered by the Ultium EV Battery Platform, LYRIQ is the car of the future. Cadillac team members gave an interactive presentation of the vehicle and had the chance to ask questions.
Dimmitt is proud to partner with Duke Energy for the Youth Energy Academy. This program offers valuable information to students interested in STEM in our community.
