Everyone is familiar with the Salvation Army bell ringers. You can find them standing outside of stores with the red Salvation Army kettle, wearing red aprons and ringing a ball to call attention to the those in need in our community. These generous volunteers play a vital role in helping to provide for members of our community. The proceeds collected are used as funds for the numerous programs The Salvation Army provides including food shelves, housing assistance, and emergency disaster services.
Associates from the Dimmitt Automotive Group volunteered to ring the Salvation Army Bell this holiday season. This year, associates took shifts throughout December in Clearwater and Homosassa. It was inspiring to see the community come together in two locations and help others this holiday season.
Thank you to everyone who helped The Salvation Army provide for the Tampa Bay community this holiday season. It is through the generosity of others that The Salvation Army can help to provide for numerous families. Dimmitt is honored to have the opportunity to volunteer with an organization that helps so many people in the greater Tampa Bay area.
