This April, Dimmitt Automotive Group had the opportunity to partner with The Kind Mouse to host a Food Drive in Pinellas County. The Kind Mouse is a non-profit organization that assists families and children in Pinellas County with food insecurities and chronic hunger.
The Kind Mouse is dedicated to helping provide hunger relief in our community. The Kind Mouse mission “is giving children hope of a brighter future. There are kids who don’t know where their next meal outside of school will come from. Many only eat while school is in session. That means they are hungry on weekends, holidays and over the summer. There are kids in every school dealing with chronic hunger. The problem is not exclusive to race, neighborhood, or age…” You can read more about The Kind Mouse’s mission here.
This Food Drive helped provide meals for struggling families in our community. As their website states, “More than 7,000 children in Pinellas County live with chronic hunger and more than 36,000 live every day with food insecurities. Kind Mouse feeds children who have nothing outside of school.” Dimmitt is proud to support The Kind Mouse’s mission to help the families in our community.
